Getting there...

Finally putting these behind their proper panels. 8 LPG's with Fonitronik Electronic Mode Control...

Living VCO's

First of four Living VCO's from Juergen Haible. I added Sine and Triangle outputs alongside Pulse and Saw. I was sorely tempted to add the sine waveshaper from the Buchla 259 too, but I think they'd make better modules on their own. I'm going to make two like this with banana jacks in euro format, and two in bananafrac... Just need to wire the others up...

LPG

One LPG, with the Fonitronik Electronic Mode Control board, couldn't be without it. Runs on 12V, I changed R18 on the LPG board to 100K to reduce clipping/distortion/whatever it was... Also changed R1 and R4 to 12K and R2 and R3 to 20K on expansion to board to increase supply voltage to 4053 at 12V operation (thanks slacker)...

Serge VCS progress

Just needs a few bits and bobs... I went with just the basic dual unit in the end - I'd never finish it... This module has the gross misfortune to be besmirched with minijacks - it's not for me see! These minijacks are a little odd, a bit tight in fact, not sure if that's cool or not...

Fonitronik PS3100 Resonators

I've just been finishing up a few things recently, I finally got round to these Korg PS3100 resonators made from Fonitronik boards, really great modules... I''m also making a minijack version for someone else, just needs some LED's - both are eurorack size.

Dual Polymoog Resonator

Just finished this JH Polymoog Resonator clone, a dual unit in eurorack with bananas. I added vactrol VC to all frequency pots - 12 vactrols...£££ouch! Worth it though...

Dual VCS Euro panel

This is the preliminary design for a dual VCS, but having seen Macumbista's design, I think I might have to change it!

Euro 281

So, this is a completed Eurorack (Bananarack?) version of the Buchla 281 module, this is a dual unit. I've added an external input to the PEAK circuit, attenuators on both A and B inputs to the PEAK circuit, a BOTH input (with a bi-polar attenuator for positive and negative control voltage processing) and each section (A&B) has an independent polarizer, allowing the output to be patched into either RISE or FALL of either section, for adjustable exponential or logarithmic envelopes (I haven't examined this yet on a scope, so I hope it works!)...

I'll also be making a couple of these with the dreaded MINIJACK (aaaargh!) for someone who has not yet seen the light ;-)

I think the panel looks okay, the Lazertran worked out better than expected, even on the .01" lines. I'd also like to try lenses on the LED's as it would look a bit better I think, the next one should have these...

News!

My memory card got fried, so none...
Got a new one...

Just tried Lazertran for the first time, as the letraset was a pain, and have found that it is pretty good and easy to use - so far... The legend seems thin in places, and missing in others (it's a Buchla 231 clone, rather than a 281) but this could be more to do with the printer settings maybe...

I also found that I need to get shares in a company that makes IPA, as I used about a litre making this...

Eurotower

Part of my euro system, I'm wondering whether to phase out this stuff, as it's such a fiddle to make (128.5mm anyone?)

Trigger to MIDI converter prototype again...

This is a prototype of a Euro or Frac Trigger to MIDI converter. Basically it enables one to control the triggering of samples (stored in rack-mount samplers eg AKAI S3000 etc) using a modular synths pulse outputs from modules such as sequencers, dividers, logic circuits, LFO's etc. The note is 'on' for the length of the trigger or gate in note on mode, otherwise it will trigger samples/loops either polyphonically or monophonically. It is fairly deep, and could be made smaller, it is currently made with stripboard, but will eventually be made with professional PCB's...

CGS Gate Sequencer

This was my first attempt at the CGS Gate + CV Sequencer, made before I started using metal panels - this is behind 3mm MDF, which surely has its' benefits. It worked really well for a while, but it was always a 'rough draft', it now has banana sockets. Don't look at the wiring!
